The Rice EDC is proud to have broken ground on the development of their property located at the Southwest corner of Dallas St. and Calhoun St. in the heart of Downtown Rice, Texas.
Public green spaces are vital for small towns as they create a sense of community, create opportunities for public engagement, and provide economic advantages.
Phase 1 of the Rice EDC Downtown Green Space Project includes the installation of park lights and electrical work, security and trash cans, and is fully funded. Future phases include a pavilion, walking paths and landscaping
The addition of the Pollan Family Park will give us an opportunity to expand our recreational area, include small business, and increase our accessibility.
These projects help fulfill our mission to grow the potential for both business and community development .
