The Rice Economic Development Corporation is offering a grant to businesses in the Rice city limits. The EDC intends to for the funds to help local businesses create jobs, advertise their services, improve their facilities, and generally pursue the public purpose of economic development.
Are you a local business who could use a boost?
Grants are available for up to $1,500. Grant applications are open to business located in the Rice city limits. Applications will be reviewed and approved by the EDC Board. Recipients may be required to show documentation of spending in accordance with grant objectives. Failure to provide documentation within 90 days of receipt will void this grant, and all associated money will be required to be returned to the City of Rice EDC.
